to the website of the San Diego HIV Health Services Planning Council! 

The Planning Council is responsible for planning services for people living with HIV/AIDS in San Diego, and for allocating funding for these services under the federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009 (RWTEA), Part A and B.

All meetings of the Planning Council and its committees are open to the public.  People living with HIV/AIDS are especially encouraged to attend and to get involved!  For more information about how to get involved, see Consumers or Membership.

New HRSA Mandates


HRSA now mandates that Planning Councils 1) determine how many people are unaware of their HIV status 2) develop a strategy for making them aware of their status and 3) refer these individuals into care. San Diego was required to respond by submitting a Part A supplimental grant application. Select the documents below to learn more:

Nuevo Mandato de HRSA


Un nuevo mandato por HRSA les obliga a los Consejos de Planificación a 1) determinar cuantas personas no son conscientes de su estatus de VIH, 2) desarrollar estrategias para hacerles conscientes de su estatus y 3) referir estos individuos a atención medica.  San Diego fue requerido a responder con someter una solicitud suplemental de Parte A.  Seleccione los documentos a continuación para aprender mas (documentos en ingles):
